The operation

Royal Transfers specialises in the Gatwick corridor — North and South Terminal work across Horley, Crawley, Reigate, Redhill and the surrounding Surrey, West Sussex and South London towns — and extends to Heathrow, Stansted, Luton, London City, Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol, plus the Southampton and Dover cruise terminals.

Two promises define the business and both are operationally expensive to keep. The first is fixed pricing with "no surge, ever": the fare quoted is the fare paid, whatever the time of day or the state of demand. The second is a free hour of waiting from the moment the aircraft lands, with meet and greet included. That second promise is only affordable if you know exactly when the plane actually landed.

Cruise terminal work adds a further wrinkle. Sailings and dockings move, passenger numbers per booking are larger, and the luggage load is heavier — which means the vehicle class has to be matched to the party properly at the point of booking rather than discovered by the driver on the doorstep.

What TBMS provides

Live flight tracking is the piece that makes the waiting-time promise work. TBMS monitors the flight and adjusts the driver's arrival for an early landing or a delay, so the free hour starts when the aircraft is actually on the ground. The firm is not paying drivers to sit in a car park because a flight slipped, and passengers are not waiting because it landed early.

Fixed fares are quoted and locked at booking across five vehicle classes — economy saloon, estate and MPV through Mercedes E Class executive to an eight-seat VIP minibus — with passenger and suitcase capacity shown for each. Choosing the right vehicle becomes the customer's decision at booking time, made with the right information, instead of a problem discovered at the kerb.

Corporate clients get account management, priority booking and invoicing through the same platform, so business travel is billed on account rather than settled per journey. Bookings complete online in under two minutes or by phone, and both routes land in the same job list.
